Plein air painter Sarah Arnold is an avid architectural preservationist with a mission to capture on canvas the grace and beauty of historic structures and the quirky personalities of Southern California neighborhoods. She earned a B.F.A. in Drawing and Painting at California State University, Long Beach in 1992. Solo exhibitions include California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 2004 and the Schoharie Arts Council in Cobleskill, New York in 2001. Museum exhibitions include: "Off the Wall" (2006), Riverside Art Museum; "Water Sights" (2004) and "Nature's Palette: Garden Views, Vistas & Fantasies 1880-2005" (2005) at the Pasadena Museum of History; "Made in California 1900-2000 Art, Image and Identity", Los Angeles County Museum of Art (2001); "Landscape and Still Life: A New Look", Downey Art Museum, California (1997).
