Lisa Bloomingdale Bell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from UCLA followed by extensive studies in the 1980's with the prominent realist painter, William Martin. Bell is both an accomplished landscape and portrait painter. California museum exhibitions include: the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University, the Pasadena Museum of California Art and the Pasadena Museum of History. Lisa Bloomingdale Bell is a member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club, and the American Society of Portrait Painters.
