Armand Cabrera brings to his canvas the insight gathered from years as a successful production artist in the computer games industry where he created conceptual designs, background art, special effects animation and storyboarding for LucasFilm Games, Disney, Virgin Entertainment, Microsoft and Paramount Pictures. Now a full time fine artist with a studio in Virginia, he has become a dedicated landscape painter, often completing his work on location in one sitting, alla prima style. He is a regular guest columnist for OutdoorPainting.com, a sponsor of The Grand View, a National PBS series dedicated to painting outdoors. Armand Cabrera was published in a recent book release, How Did you Paint That? 100 Ways to Paint Seascapes, Rivers, and Lakes and has been the subject of feature articles in SouthwestArt, American Art Collector, Art of the West, and International Artist magazines. He is an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club, American Artist Professional League, Plein Air Painters of the Southeast and Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters.
