Jennifer Hurley studied extensively with the renowned Impressionist painter Sergei Bongart after obtaining a BFA from San Diego State University. Additional training with Sunny Apinchapong-Yang, Ovanes Berberian, and Joseph Mendez honed her already sharpened artistic talents. Museum exhibitions include "Nature's Palette: Garden Views, Vistas, & Fantasies 1880 -2005" at the Pasadena Museum of History and the Carnegie Museum in Oxnard, California where she was an award winner in the 1998 "Classic Competition". Juried exhibitions include "The Best & Brightest" at the Scottsdale Artists School (Arizona) in 2004 and 2002 and "Spiritual Spectrum: Paintings & Sculpture by the California Art Club" at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (Los Angeles, CA) in 2004. Jennifer Hurley is a member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club, and American Impressionist Society.
