Impressionist painter Brent Jensen earned a B.A. in Art from the University of Utah followed by intensive studies with established artistic mentors. His professional career involved architectural illustration until a 2002 European vacation renewed his interest in plein air painting. In 2006, he was selected as an "Artist to Watch" by SouthwestArt Magazine and in 2008 was honored with a feature article in Art of the West Magazine. Brent Jensen is a member of Oil Painters of America, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, California Art Club, and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association.
