Impressionist painter Brent Jensen earned a B.A. in Art from the University of Utah followed by intensive studies with established artistic mentors. His professional career involved architectural illustration until a 2002 European vacation renewed his interest in plein air painting. His work has been juried into the Salon International, Bowers Museum Orange County Plein Air Painters Invitational, the La Quinta Arts Festival and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association Juried Exhibition. In 2006, he was featured in SouthwestArt Magazine as an "Artist to Watch". Brent Jensen is a member of Oil Painters of America, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, the California Art Club, and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association.
