Since his 1995 graduation form the Art Center College of Design, Eric McLean's talents have been utilized in the film industry. With Walt Disney Feature Animation he was on the creative team for "Dinosaur", the "One by One" segment for "Fantasia 3", "Treasure Planet", "Meet the Robinsons", and "Bolt". Other film credits include: "James and the "Giant Peach", "Escape from L.A.", "The Phantom", "Scooby Do, The Movie" and "Polar Express". An avid plein air painter, McLean paints all facets of his native California: rural, urban, and coastal scenes. His work has placed in the top 100 in the Arts for the Parks National Competition and in the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibitions. Museum exhibitions include: San Diego Museum of Art and the Pasadena Museum of History. In 2008 he was honored by Walt Disney Feature Animation with a solo fine art exhibition at the Studio. Eric McLean is an Artist Member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.
