Ron Pekar is represented in more than two hundred corporate, public and museum collections worldwide. For more than thirty-five years, Pekar has created site specific sculptures for both the public and private sector. Ranging from monumental, multimedia outdoor environments to small bronzes, his designs evoke sensitivity to the site and to the perceptions of the viewer/participant. Pekar is also a professor with more than twenty-six years of college teaching experience including: visual lecturer, visiting critic and demonstrator at schools and institutions at graduate and undergraduate levels. Recently he has been a concept consultant for Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Feature Animation, paralleling as Sculptor in Residence at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Florida.
