Isabel Wadsworth received her art education at the Wellesley College in Massachusetts, followed by studies at the Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy, where she earned a Masters Degree in Art History. As a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists, she has painted personal and business portraits - single and group, formal and informal for more than thirty years. In addition, she paints landscapes and still-lifes, both in the studio and en plein air. Museum exhibitions include: The Pasadena Museum of History, Pasadena Museum of California Art, Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University and the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona. Isabel Wadsworth is a member of the California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, and the American Society of Portrait Artists.
